Redline Water Wetter

Guys, I swear by this stuff. I use it in all of my vehicles. I put 2 bottles of Water Wetter and top it off with distiled water. Since Ive starte using it, the normal operating temp in my Durango went fro 210-215 to 180-190 and the cooling fan hasnt come on ONE SINGLE TIME on my motorcycle during the dead of summer!!! If mixed properly, it wont freeze. I havent had to empty it just for winter. It works with or without antifreeze but performs best when mixed with straight water. It lubricates all seals in the cooling system, helps to raise the boiling point of water and can be used in racing classes where antifreeze is not allowed. I would reccomend it to anyone for anything from thier daily driver to thier water cooled atv.

I was really thinking about using it, I dont have any cooling issues but figured it wouldn't hurt. Thanks for the input.

Its really great stuff!! There are other products out there that boast the same effects but I havent found any tht work as good for the same price. The other thins that I tried were anywhere from 30-50 bux for a half gallon container. They worked but you can get the same results for a lot cheaper. I never had any "issues" with cooling either but I just like the idea of my car running at 180-190 instead of 210-220.

I've used it as well, For me it actually helped prevent detonation on hot summer days. Used it in my radiator and in my intercooler resovoir. I've since switched to the royal purple version which works every bit as good. Either one is a good buy

So do you empty out all your old antifreeze mix, or just add this product to your mix?

I know this post was out to pasture but I'll revive it to say yes Water Wetter works wonders.

Since our 4.6s seem to lose power when it gets hot this stuff really helps.

100% stock and now after driving for an hour the car still has its punch. Noticeable difference and I've been pleased.

i wanna use it but i'm afraid too, because i have a 180* thermostat in it..and with just 50/50 mix the temp needle never gets past the O in NORMAL and i was afraid it would never get outta that open loop shit and run like ass all the time... lol

stangdriven, if i'm reading this right you added two bottles of the water wetter to a 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze. I live in Iowa too so just wondering if you have ever had any problems during cold weather? Does it take longer for the water to heat up, cause some mornings (like when its -10) it seems like the water warms up slow enough as it is...
