Smoked Headlights?

Hey was wondering if anyone out there has installed smoked headlights on their Foxbody Mustang. There are a few options out there and just wondering what it would look like.

Got any links or pics with smoked headlights on a black or dark colored mustang?

These are the ones i was lookin at.

The Turbo Forums.com
here is a car with the smoked head lights hope you like these. i got mine from latemodelrestoration.com , but if you want to save some money you can get some black paint and clearcoat mix these two together and paint them. first you need to 600 grit water sand them and you should be ready to go. but good luck with finding what you want.

Careful, many states have outlawed smoke covering on the headlights and taillights.

In Kansas and many other states they are illegal at night. No matter how dark the tint is. So if you get them make sure you can take them off as easily as you put them on!

Hutchison, eh?
Ever been to Pittsburg?

It depends, too, on how bright your headlights are- I know with my HIDs I could probably get away with smoked headlights simply because you wouldn't be able to tell they were tinted. So if you have dim headlights I'd definately be careful about how dark the tint is- or if you even tint them at all.

I know in Indiana and a bunch of other states, the law only requires certain ligh outputs from the lights. I have yet to have anyone show me an actual state law that says no tinting. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, but I still believe it's just an internet rumor. If you're concerned, actually go to your state laws and look it up.

the ncdmw website says that says if smoked tint/covers/paint interfere with the beam of the light then they are illegal.
