M and H Drag Radials

Wow...Only in the highest rpm's in first gear can I break these things loose. Once the clutch is engaged, there's no breaking them loose. The engine seems surprised. Good thing 4.10's are going in next month. This is my first impression so take it for what it's worth. Also, no more wheel hop. The car can't easily break the tires loose so that transitional hop phase is gone. I'm sure it's still there. For acceleration levels permitted on the way home from work it was gone.

And the bonus, before this my girlfriend didn't think it was practical to lower the car in our area, but now she thinks it'll look spectacular lowered about an inch.

255/50 F (Kumho)
275/50 R (M&H Racemasters)

Two weeks later, and I'm getting to know these tires pretty well. They continue to bog the engine down rather than break loose accept at a very high rpm launch or when accererating hard and hitting a bump. They grab very well in the wet, but it's all or nothing. And they are soo comfortable.

All in all, I'm a lot more comfortable putting the peddle down than I was with the 255's out back, and certainly more comfortable than with those suicide pirellis. The 4.10's still aren't in, stay tuned.
