Steeda Clutch Adjustment Quadrant, Cable, Firewall Adjuster.

Well, let me just say that it's nice, it works but it's unneccessary. The stock plastic one is a pretty hard plastic and does not bend like they say. Plus this one means that you occassionally have to adjust it as the cable streches whereas the stocker you don't. The stock cable is excellent and this aftermarket ones doesn't slide any better. Also, the stock seemed to have better heat shielding. There is absolutely no reason I need to be able to adjust my cable at both the firewall and on the clutch side so that was kinda pointless too. The firewall is much better. Now the steeda one does have a set screw but it is a pain in the ass to set it. You have to use an allen wrench in a tight area to fit into a tiny screw. A thumb screw would have been a better design. The Clutch feel is good. the shape of the quadrant makes it release sooner than stock but that doesn't really make it any quicker, atleast nothing to write home about.

Thanks.. That saved me a few dollers. I was thinking about getting one for preventive maintenance.

adjusting it at the fire wall is just easier and less time consuming than adjusting it at the transmission. I use a stock cable with a fire wall adjuster.

same here.

personally i found myself highly disappointed with my clutch quadrant/adjustable cable/firewall adjust kit. no real noticeable decrease in pedal effort. nothing was broken from the factory parts removed. the new quadrant is much looser than the original one (you can actually hear it rattling around - no supplied washers) and for me it was just much easier to lift up on the clutch pedal to adjust my clutch anyways.
