My short block is ready and i want to buy some really good performance heads for raceing 302, H roller cam B303, flat tops
I Havent decided on the heads. I would love peoples advice on cylynder heads. My one freind says GT40X, and the other one says AFR or Edelbrock. This motor will be put in my 67 Mustang coupe, C4 trans, 3000 Stall. I would love to get in the 11`s. Thank you, Billy |

Twisted wedge heads or CNC ported twisted wedge heads. Throw the B303 cam in the garbage and get yourself a Trick Flow 51402001

Whats the cars intended use street strip, track only, dd? Do you already have the cam? Compression your looking for? HP#s, rpm range ?These are all going to play a part in what heads and cam to run. Dont waste your money just bolting on parts research on a proven combo that meets your goals. Then put together a parts list. Remember just bolting a bunch of parts on doesnt mean youll make good hp, its a proper combination of parts that get you what you want. As for your original ? all the heads you mentioned will make good power w/ the right combination of supporting parts. I myself like the TFS and AFRs, Im in the prosses of putting my new short block together and decided to go AFR with the help of a custom cam from ED C. at FTI. Good luck on your decision

I'm no pro - I'm going through the same process as well. For Twisted Wedge, I understand that you don't really need to do anything...but with AFR's you do need to have the valve reliefs notched out a little. I guess it also depends on what you have for pistons.
