My Race Car Wannabe

Instead of laying around and watching Christmas movies all day long...
I thought Id do something productive and start getting the car ready for the new engine.

Got it up on the jack stands and the engine/tranny unbolted and all the wiring and hoses unhooked.
Its ready to pull out first thing tomorrow.

427 cubic inch, 2 stage-nitrous fed, custom built, ManOWar short block soon to come.

I tell you what...

The cost of the engine is a drop in the bucket compared to what the chassis and suspension cost.

dude i might have to make a roadtrip to BG this spring on vacation and check out the bg stangs. are there some good 1/4 mile tracks up there for like a track day?

sounds like its gonna be a kick ass car.

If you make it to any of the tracks (in KY) or BGM meets, you will.
Right now the only thing holding up progress is Im waiting for Ross to make my pistons. Should have it up and running by the end of Feb.

Yes. We have BeechBend Raceway. A very nice 1/4 mile track.
NMRA has thier last race of the season here every year.
