Thank you. I got a Canon Rebel XS.

I am still learning how to use it, Tomorrow I am gonna spend most of the day taking pictures of stuff. I think I learn how to use something the best by just messing around with it. I have watched a few tutorials on the internet though.

haha thanks, I keep messing with that photo in photoshop because it was so dark, when I loaded it into photobucket it got all dark, and the other ones don't look nearly as sharp as they do when I open them in CS3

This one is overexposed, However It is the only Panorama I have. And I don't think that it turned out so bad (seam wise, as it is 3 pictures stuck together)

Sorry for the massive size, Hope you all have gi-huge-o monitors!

Nice pics indeed. Thats the same camera i ended up buying as well. The 50d would have been the better choice but they cost an arm and a leg, and money goes towards cars; for me atleast. Anyway what lens's do you have? I got the 18-55mm and the 300mm ultrasonic telephoto. The 300mm is very awesome for some landscape shots.

Right now I only have the 18-55mm Lens, it came with the camera, I am trying to figure out what I want to do with the camera before I buy my next lens, I am short on cash so I wanna make sure the next lens I buy is gonna be something I will be content with for a while until I am ready to make my next purchase. I use a tripod so the Image stabilization isn't a HUGE deal to me, I know the lenses with out that feature are a little cheaper, so I may go that way to start off with.

you know the one lens that I keep nut swinging from is the 50mm F1.4. but i tell you what, i'm making that my next purchase with out a doubt. they are fast, sharp, and real fun.

you can get a decent used one for about one hundred dollars

u gotta look at what type of photos your gonna take...scenery,cars and car shows, people and portraits

i was in the same boat awhile back......75-300 or 10-22 ultra wide

i got the ultra wide, and even though it doesnt have a huge zoom u can still get great pics and make them look artsy

i know uve seen these pics before on here, but this was with my ultra wide lens
