Wow nice ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I also have Nikon D40...have not been able to use it alot. What kind of software are you using with it? I'm looking to make a change..using basic Microsoft Digital image pro or something. Works OK.

thanks so much for the compliments! Thanks EXHUMED for the add on the background! It's unbelievable to think that 2 days ago I didn't even own a camera besides my phone and now one of my photos is on someone else's computer. haha gotta love modern technology.

Haha, that is very true! What size wheels are you running, by the way? They look good.

just a few notes, mainly on the first one.
If you are going to cut of half your subject, do so in a clean manner, meaning watch where you are putting the edge of the picture, also, watch for clutter in the background, such as the biker in yellow. as for the software question that was asked earlier, Adobe Lightroom is the shit!!

These look really good for your first outing!
Another thing is shoot in RAW NEF. It gives you more room to edit and fix problems. If you shoot RAW, you can totally recover a screwed up image that's under/over exposed and even with jacked up WB. If you want to learn more, post on NikonCafe.com - Powered by vBulletin and ask around for help on whatever issues you're having. My user name there is JohnC as well. FWIW, I shoot with a Nikon D300. ![]() Skip the fisheye unless you really want the distortion. The best lens I have used for true 10mm wide shots is the Sigma 10-20mm. A couple shots with the siggy: Both shot with the Sigma 10-20mm, Nikon D300, and adjust in Adobe Lightroom 2. Opryland Hotel ![]() Nashville, TN ![]() Thread full of Sigma 10-20mm sample images: Lets see your best Sigma 10-20mm shots! - NikonCafe.com Lens: 201306 Sigma 10mm - 20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Autofocus Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras.
