got the new tint

i got 20% on the sides and 15% on the back...ill have the brow done next week when i can get $20 to spend...the whitish areas are soap thats dried...it'll be cleaned off by tomarrow...me and the sixxer are gonna have a full day of detail work

looks really sweet. i want to get tinting done. what brand tint or what ever did you get (i dont know much about tinting)

I got a local shop to do it...i know that their signs say there tint has a uv blocker in it...dunno, but i like it and i cant wait to get the brow don..probly 20% like the sides...found out my areas tint laws are 35%

any aftermarket tint is illegal. Might as well go all out then.

Alot of shops around here will do 5%.

there was a '03 GT there that had 10% all the way around, but it was a tad bit to dark for my taste when he let me sit inside of it...

Not exactly. Anything darker than 30-35% in most states is illegal. I think California says you can have tint percent you want, but the front windows have to be legal or something like that...

Just make sure you play it cool near State Troopers. They'll give you a nice little ticket for the tint.

in new york it's 70% on the front to windows and 30% on the back

it varies from state to state

u can however, get a perscription for illegal tints from ur dr. it's real easy. tell him the sun hurts ur eyes to the point where u get headaches and bam. i used to have one until some lady t-boned the car i had it for and wasn't ever able to find it in the remains. just keep it with ur registration and insurance card at all times, and u should be good if you ever get pulled over
