I was thinking the same thing... That came out right after I bought mine. Its a lot more camera. Congrats!

Just a standard D40. Looks exactly the same as coolhandluke's (besides the D40x badge) but has less features.

NM...wrong pic. Mine is a standard D40 as well. I picked it up for $450 at Best Buy.

One of the Circuit City's here in OKC had a display for $350 but I decided to pay the extra $100 for the one that was NIB.

Ahh. Cool. You will love it either way. I don't think there is a DSLR that is better to learn on.

I hope to have a D90 or a D300 sometime in the not to distant future. The Nikkor glass and the Nikon controls have me addicted.
