Without the wind chill added zip?

We were -18 this morning and -31 with the windchill. I might move south after this winter season..

Aurora IL in the valley, was -30 somethin'! My car read -18 and yeah thank GOD for SUV's and remote starts. I went out to listen to her start..it did good.

But my GOD the roads are destroyed with buckling and holes that can eat a Buick! Black ice...is everywhere and people are still driving like total idiots. people hit the potholes and blow tires rims suspension. I saw a Jeep this morning in the lane I am usually in, blew out his front tire and rim.

Those pics of Croatia are beautiful! I'm loving all the pics...Zippies make feel colder than I already am..it's warmed up to -4 when I got out of the Escape. Zip...I cannot imagine having to stand out there like that. No wonder you are the survivalist expert for this weather. Those roads look nasty! How the HELL do you drive them? Especially with what you're carrying. Man!!!! You have to have the same problems we do..and OMG look at that ice on the roads in Montreal??!!!

Forecast for Saturday morning is freakin SNOW!!!!!!!!! So lets see it should warm up a bit, get windy and snowy and drifting on the roads. Sure am glad I get to work tomorrow...I swear my face got a little frosted...kinda stings tonight.

Emay...this has just got to stop soon.

lol....it's like any other job, I guess, Shar. You just gradually get better at it.

I learned to drive running through northern Ontario, so I'm kind of used to it.

Someone posted a picture of a moose up here, or in one of the other threads recently....I've seen too many of those. lol
