how does one Calibrate their monitor? Can i do it on my Laptop or is it a special kinda of monitor?

It's a device you place on the monitor such as colormunki or datacolor's spyder device. Aids in tweaking todays monitors because they all come from the factory all hot rodded out with mass saturation that is eye pleasing but unrealistic in photography.

My HP has full calibration capability across all the parameter, but my 22" Benq on my desktop PC is limited in adjustment capability. So to answer your question, not all monitoring devices are capable of being adjusted fully.

I have an HP? Is there a way i can check to see if mine is calibrated or can i manually do it?

Can't be done properly without the tool. Anything you do without it is simply guessing.

If you saw a calibrated monitor you would think something is wrong because the oversaturation and vibrance is majorly decreased. Also sets the white balance based on the ambient light within the room your working.

Best one u have done. Try dynamic photo hdr. Their noise reduction software is amazing

Running a course of the flu myself, not sure I'll get the car out. Need to shake this bug because I tentatively scheduled some side work on 2 stangs for Sunday and need to get over to Ruffonis to look at his overhead dvd player..
