That's a glass wall that has faces projected within it. They alternate and change every few minute. During the summer they water runs from them and the faces pucker and such so it looks like the water is flowing from the mouths.

Just a cool structure in general. Awesome during the summer time.

If u look closely, It's actually video of the faces as the they blink, grin, smile and show their teeth.

I believe Daley got most of the park built with private funding...

Wouldn't matter, if the tax payers had funded it. It's a place to get away from things. I think with all the changes Daley's made, most would back him even if the dough came out of their pockets.

Speaking of which, his foliage initiative is beginning to pay off big time. Last time into the city the tree transplants he's lobbied for are very noticable now as they have grown tremendously. Not just in the parks either, the trees lining some of the streets are very impressive. He's cleaned up a lot down there. Got to give the man some credit.
