Hot = Fast

Here's a couple shots using a hot AP value to knock down Flares when shooting right into lighting.

This one I got away with F8, but would have been much cleaner at 5.6 or so because of shooting in complete dark.

It say's they're blocked if I try to view it via my EXIF viewer in FireFox...

I may have that folder locked as I had some other personal items in there. I'll see if I can move those and free up the folder.

Troy this ones for you, A little clean up and a ceiling change and the studio is up and running.

Back drops are 9ft wide on rollers, I don't have to put them up anymore, just leave them there and roll out the color of seamless the customer wants. Total wall length is about 12 ft. Leaves me 2 1/2 ft to access the pull chains on the right. The length to the wall behind me from the backdrop is 20ft, so I can comfortable shoot head shots at 85mm zoom if necessary.

Partial stash of Eleanors 2009 trophies to the left needs to be stored and some furniture to my left and behind migrated out and I'll be good. The ceiling tiles are going to be swapped to black in order to not reflect off the ceiling. Ceiling is low (drop ceiling in my basement) - just under 8 ft, so I need to get tricky with it in order to not spill outside light. Soon as my background lighting arrives, I'll post a few more of the resulting space..

haha, I suppose you can call it that, since I do pick out the colors.
They are called Soft Paws, and its these soft plastic tips that you glue onto your cats claws, Its so they can't claw up the furniture or my boston terriers bulgey eyeballs

I'll post another picture showing why this is tomorrow if I can.

I lay down 1/2 plywood on the carpet, pull the back drop over it and then lay 1/8th white tile board over the area where myself and the subject would be moving and walking. The tile board is mar resistant and wipes up relatively easily making for low maintenance. My white seamless paper drop should last years if care for properly.

did you use some kind of reflector here to get that light on the grilles? or was it just sunset?
