Looks awesome Lucas, I need to try and put my photobooth back together, it kind of fell apart when I moved it lol. Are you using a flash on those as well? I picked up an external flash yesterday and I am ready to try it out.

Thanks Weems.

No flash needed. Just two halogen worklamps and a desk lamp on the top. I just set as flash off, auto ISO, and +1 incandescent on the white balance.

Let me know how that new flash works for you.

Yeah I use pretty much the same setup, except I use three halogens, but I was thinking about bouncing the flash off of the top to blow the background out even more.

What flash did you get?

For what I do and need it for I didn't want to drop over 200 on a flash, so I went with the Sunpak RD2000, 80 bucks on Amazon, and its pretty bright and compact, I am pretty pleased with it.

Im not happy with this picture, its lacking something, suggestions please.

I think maybe.. because i cut off the top, or I should have gotten more of the grill in the picture, I think what I am least happy with is the composition.

Since the top is cut off slightly you might try the straighten tool to sit the pic at a slightly diagonal angle with the front end sloping downward. That way the front clip and fender becomes the main focal point.

Regardless...I still think it looks great though.

i have a canon 40d at the moment. My buddy is spoiled and into photography so his parents bought him a 70-200 f/2.8 canon l series lens. And i was the first to use it. (he got stuck giving his GF a ride home after visiting him at school)

Other wise not much to special

I did do the tilt thing and it looks a little better, I took a bunch of pictures of the car yesterday , I think I may try again tonight, Its one of my dads cars, and I thought I would take a few photos of it (like a series of them) and get them framed for him for Fathers day.
