Erin,

What ISO setting do you normally use on your dark / night photos? I've tried a couple but it seems like I'm picking up too much light and I don't get a nice dark vs. lights contrast.

Looking at the exif data, that picture was taken at 100 iso.

Luke, it was done at iso 100 as previously mentioned, The key there was I set up the shot with all the lights on to get my focus right and composure where I wanted it, then went into total darkness. so dark in fact i had to use a flashlight to walk around.

I took that shot 4 times before landing the one I wanted, as you mentioned I had a little bleed of the parking lamps making it's way in and wrecking the black theme. I didn't want to have so fast an aperature that the blue gauges tinted or dimmed in the shot.

That's the key with the night photography and getting blacks to truly be deep black. The nightime / dark stuff is by far my favorite in the hobby.

I still don't know how to look at Exif Data of other peoples pictures.

Right click and save the picture, and then go to where the picture is on your comp, and right click and hit properties, then hit the details tab.

Erin I hope you don't mind, I know you use your pictures for business also.

Yes sir, 99% of my shooting is done on 100.

The first one turned out a little soft because its an hdr and they didn't want to align properly.
