They use a similar method for the baseball fields except with a few thousand dollar device and not a tennis ball container... ( but they do double cut baseball diamonds as well ).

I do cross every week, actually every half a week. Cause mines growing so fast I'm mowing Sund and Wed of every week still.

Doesn't leave the cross hatch as prodominant as Fun's and I'm using a commercial grade 36" wide mower.. Only way I get Fun's results is to mow both directions on a single outing, which as you can figure takes double the time.

I will agree with you on that... I mowed monday and there was a nice pattern but yesterday it was starting to fade out and most the lines you could see were from mowing it last time. Heres a pic from yesterday ( sorry, my phone is the only camera I really use ).

And just for the hell of it here is my backyard... ( The far end is about to get all torn to hell as thats where my pool is going in at ).

Got to love summertime where if you only mow your grass once a week it gets borderline out of control.

Just a few pics from a car show last weekend. Wished that I would have taken more but I really didn't think that they were going to turn out very well. I finally figured out if I ditched the crappy UV filter and only used the CPL it makes a world of improvement. Unfortunately, I didn't have a snowball's chance at a trophy with a couple really nice '69 and 70 Mach's and a pair of GT 500's in the Mustang class.

I may just start sticking to Ford and Mustang shows only. No chance of me ever winning a trophy if the Mustang class isn't divided at all. It would be a huge plus to avoid the import and Chevy crowd anyway. I don't know how but I ended up getting stuck in a lineup of classic Vette's, Camaro's, and GTO's.

Completely went against my better judgement and shot a wedding last Saturday. It was for the same couple that I did the engagement pictures for awhile back. I originally declined to do the wedding and they found someone else. Unfortunately that someone else cancelled less than two weeks before the wedding leaving them in a jam when everyone else was booked up. I traded in a Minolta SLR and extra lens to get an off brand shoe mount bounce flash so that I would at least have a fighting chance. I haven't had a chance to look at all the photos, but I should have enough good ones to satisfy...probably around 200 when it's all said and done. The wedding chapel was a nightmare lighting wise and the flash was rediculously unpredictable. You could shoot the same shot twice and come up with completely different results. My biggest problem was coming up with soft pictures that probably won't print well over 8x10 and graininess on dark colored clothing when the rest of the photo looks fine. Thank goodness I took several shots from each pose so that I can sort out the trash. Like I said before, haven't really had a chance to look at the photos since I've been busy moving, but this shot caught my eye when I was browsing through some of the pics.

Can I make my unofficial entrance into this thread?? You guys are all so good!! My name is Ryan, and I shoot with a humble Nikon D60. Besides the included 15-55mm I have a 55-200mm lens. Hoping to get more soon! This picture is just the first I thought I'd throw up. It's my girlfriend's little Yorke puppy. Snapped it in her front yard one morning.
