DAMN, that looks really good. What lens are you using? I've tried to catch th moon before but it always turns out so small? Im using a 200MM. What am i doing wrong? Does the Moon have to be Extremely big and close to the earth or something?

Great job though!

You do have to wait for it to be at a close point Power. Did you see in the pic that he caught a plane flying by?

That was his 70-200mm at 200mm.

Thanks Power Shift.... Yes exactly what Emay said. I take about 10 different pictures of the moon, all at different speeds. The faster the speed the sharper the image, but you also loose light. So you need to find the happy medium, and do it fast, cause the moon moves fast and the light changes as well. Best time for moon shots is just after sunset. Good luck, and hope that helps

Marq, no glass other than the windshield exposed on the circuit. Depending on the sanction the rules fluctuate. His class must have had that sanction rule present.

By the dirt on his front tire and the flat back tire I'd say he had a offroad excursion as well...... Pretty car though for sure.

Golden Gate bridge.

When I upload photos to photobucket, after they are edited in Lightroom, the colors are always way messed up.. Why!?! The resolution takes a shit too.

Nevermind I figured it out

I've noticed that too with Flickr, but it seems that the colors always get worse no matter what.

When I take a raw image, edit it in lightroom, Open it in photoshop, then save it as a jpeg, it looks fine. but when I load it into photobucket or even flickr the color is TERRIBLE.

Yeah, but even if it wasn't calibrated, wouldn't both photos look the same?

If I "print screen" and crop the picture out in photshop, save it as a jpeg and then upload it to photobucket , it works fine.

I thought it might be an issue with the 8-16-32 Bit color or something, but I can't figure it out.

Well lets go through your work flow. When you work on your shots in post processing, are you working on the RAW files or the jpegs?

Also, when you final save them, are you saving them in 8 bit format?

I wish I could take awesome pictures like Erin does... but all I have is a 10.1px Casio Exilim with the crappiest 3x zoom ever.
