Ford stopped producing mineral gray cars and started producing dark shadow gray as a replacement in like 2001 then when s197 was released it was tungsten gray. The thread title should be "All forms of Gray so we aren't alone"

Ummm Mineral Grey was offered in 2005 also Tungsten wasn't offered untill 06

I have always thought Mineral Gray looked more towards a goldish color than Gray.

like Pewter or something. haha

It is...haha. I've never understood the name either. Whenever people ask what color my car is and I say mineral gray, I feel like they think it's going to be almost a silver...haha.

Mineral and Tungsten look way different. Mineral has a brown undertone hue and Tungsten has almost blue tint to it in certain lighting. Here is an unedited pic of Tungsten in the shade.
