thanks guys.

lefty I picked the covers up a while back from a swap meet I went to, Cervinis was setup at the meet and had them going really cheep! I'm also in the process of making some new seat belt guides hence the reason why my one seat is missing a headrest.

thanks Thorpedo.

now being that this is a vert thread I thought this would be appropriate, my followup on the seat belt guides that I made (for anyone with a styling bar would know that the stock guides need to be modified to play safe) I just chose to make some from scratch. Not sure if im going to paint them black leaving the engraving alone or, leave them the alum. look with a little more elbow grease.

Hey 00-vert I priced my top... wow the top alone is $750 from my "friiend" yet I can find the same top err more of a top for a bit less shopping online I think he's goonna help me install my own instead of getting it through him. oh and btw it's Black. they dont offfer white in cloth only vinyl and I figure with our weather its probably better since vinyl likes to stretch and shrink.

You are right about that. I hate their website. I always use the catalog. I had to go gt mine out of the shitter, best place to read it. But the part number for the convertible top for a 99-04 Mustang in black is C166BLK it comes with the rear glass curtain and costs $299.98. If you want defrost the part number is C166BLKD and costs $349.88. You can save over $100 if you do not need the glass curtain. The cost for one without the curtain is $159.95 and te part number is T166BLK.

well ill be taking orders at a price of ohh I dont know say 300000000000, no seriously, right now it will be hard for me to produce these being that I did the cnc'ing at my college on my spring break (only time where I had the time to stand there for two hours while they were being milled out) but possibly in the future? Heres the completed project, kept the alum. look to make them stand out a bit more. The last picture shows the clearence with the styling bar...I had a original design that made the bars angle and the guides angle parallel but it made the design not flow as significantly as it does with my updated design.

Defiantly man go for it if you have access to a cnc, now if you were going to try and make it with a band saw or something yea....... let me know how that works out for you haha

It only took me about a week or two to come up with a design and another two weeks to have some prototypes and tweaking
