So I used a Nikon D40 today (Mustang pics)

I took ALOT of pics... are are 4 from the selection, I will be posting alot more later. This is the first time I have ever used a camera of this caliber. I had it on auto focus the whole time. I want to learn some techniques with it so I can take some really good pics.

Auto focus is the norm, don't feel like your being a rookie because your using that technology.

Shots are good. Careful where the sun is in the flared one. Try positioning yourself in such a way that the sun is not a flaring issue, yet is putting light on your subject. If yuo move two steps left and take that shot from just about even with the front tire angled towards her, you get a much more appealing picture. That or reposition the car so that you can take that shot exactly where you were at without the sun busting up the shot.

Enjoy it, the hobby is addicting.

Thanks for all the responses. Sad thing is the Camera is not mine. It is my cousin's who lives right next to me. barrow it on occasion and this was the first time I tried some really nice shots with it. He got it and does not know what he has... just uses it to take pics of random stuff, nothing really appeling or eye catching.

I took alot more, gonna be making a post with them soon since they are non car related. My ISP sucks at upload tho. Takes me about 15m to upload 5mb to Photobucket.

May I make a suggestion? Since you're all about customization may I suggest maybe doing something custom w/ you're intake manifold...? I think it would really help complete your engine bay

You mean the intake itself or something else? The upper intake?

So the grayish part the CAI goes into? With the Throttle Body?

Ya, I think I am gonna replace the chrome piece in the side scoops with black again and remove the stickers for a cleaner look.

Thanks for the compliments as well.

I thought about it... yet I plan on replacing it eventually, probally with one of Chris' intakes thats Black so would be kinda pointless. I may do it tho since it will be after June before I can get one.

Could prolly just sand it down, primer, and paint like I did with the value covers? I'm thinkin flat black for that piece?

Whatever floats your boat man! Have fun w/ it! Especially if you're planning on getting one from Chris, then experiment around w/ some cool ideas and stuff.
