Anyone Use Adobe PS Lightroom?

I just acquired a copy because I heard some good things about it, but I am trying to use it , and to me it seems like just total crap.... I like cs4 a lot better, Is there something I am missing out on ? all I see is how to change the contrast ,exposure and crap.

The only thing I use lightroom for is manipulating my .nef photos, other than that, I cant stand it, and prefer cs3 much better.

What you need to understand about lightroom is it's capabilities for fast work in general development. It is not a photoshop type application. It's phenominal for fill light, white balance correction, automatic web page prep work, and the best friggen archiving and search capability of your picture files available to date. Lightroom is the Bridge application on a double course of steroids.

What it is not is picture chopping software with a pluthera of tools.

right I understand its capabilities as I did play around with it for hours last night and found all the tools, but I don't really see any difference from what I can do in photoshop already.

edit:

Now that I have used it a little more, Its not so bad, it just makes everything a little easier because its "right there" at your fingertips, it takes a little more tweaking of things in photoshop to get the same effects.

Also, I am editing RAW photos in Lightroom, is this the best program for that? I literally JUST started taking a few pictures in RAW so I am new to messing with them.
