Done&Done~Interior paint/battery relocation project

So, I'm waiting for my H&R SS springs to get in, and I've been making a list of little cheap mods to do. And next was battery relocation and painting the interior.

I used a marine box from autozone, and some big bolts to attach grounds. I used 1/0 wire, fished it through one of the pre-existing grommets in the firewall, and ran it down the kick panel, in the rocker panel, and under the rear seats(which are now removed till I make a rear seat delete). Everything went really smoothly, and I LOVE everything being black now instead of light gray.

Here's some before's:

Work in progress pics/ After's:

I used a couple different kinds of paint. The first vinyl paint came out really glossy, so I'm going to have to redo that part(door panels). Everything else came out pretty well. Prep is key here. Anyway, my plan was mostly red w/ some black on the ouside, and mostly black with some red on the inside. Whatcha think?

Lol. Thanks guys. Its not too bad, took me two weekends to completely finish. All panels and interior pieces 1 weekend, and the dash and steering wheel the next.

After I get these springs I don't have anything else I want to do(style wise) to the car. I eventually want to get a pair of corbeau's or something. But maybe after gears

Looks good, but I hope you dont plan on running at the track... your battery box does not meet NHRA rules, and you need a kill switch on the back of the car.

Thanks a lot lefty

Thanks alot!

Seems like everyone likes it. That's awesome, I'm pretty happy with it. Not sure how well it'll hold up though. I was kind of hesitant on using red against black, because red against black stands out SO much vs. black against red. I think it turned out pretty sharp though Just need some black leather racing seats now!

Looks good man. I did the same thing to mine. Only suggestion I can make is that you need to do the top half black. It's to much of a contrast for my liking. I like the battery relocation... I should do that.

Yeah, I was going to paint the charcoal top part. But it was going to be too much of a pain in the ass to get right, so I'm seeing how I like it like this, if I don't I'll paint the rest.

Just ran this little 17" ground cable from the old terminals to the frame in the front. And did the same for the back. And just ran the + cable back. I used a battery stud and bolted it into a wire crimp on the front.
