99 Cobra - New Pics

Took a couple quick pics last weekend... bought the '03 Cobra wheels off a friend (only had 16,000 miles on them... look brand spanking new). Rubber is a little thin in the rear... not so sure I want to keep the Nitto DRs on the car as I plan to do some hot-lapping at the local raceway in a couple months.

I agree the car does look real nice. Throw some Roush tips on there, and I think it will set it off.

Thanks guys. Throw me $600 and I'll get some Roush tips. Those suckers are EXPENSIVE. $291 a piece! And I would need to weld in new pipes as the Roush tips are much shorter than the Bassani tips I currently run. Nobody makes the Roush tips anymore (cheap knockoffs) so I'd have to go straight through Roush... pricey, just for the authentic look. For that much dinero I'd rather reinforce my puny IRS and get the pumpkin rebuilt.

Thanks gents! $300 for both tips isn't too bad after all.

I'm still shocked that my Bassani side-exit exhaust kit for the new edge Cobras only has a single muffler. Crazy how that works. Must be so that it fits back there (bulky IRS).

I might eventually just shell out the $800 for the whole package, tips included. The Roush kits have dual-mufflers... I'm sure that would sound a hell of a lot better than my dual-baffle Bassani muffler. (My car sounds great, but a little like it's under water). Either that, or sell the side skirts, and dump my exhaust so I can actually go down the drag strip at long last.

Side exhaust cars can do hot laps and road events, but not the drags. how dumb is that
