Man thats a great job. I have the tan/brown interior on mine, and I hate how I have to clean it every week to keep it looking clean.

kool, what did you use to paint it? and in your opinion does it look better than the stock black interior? Is it more black?

Yes, it is IMHO better than the factory black. With the factory black it looks more... well.. factory. This way it is more custom with a deeper black. You also have the option of leaving it a deep flat black or adding the clear and making it a shiny gloss black. Only drawbacks are the time it takes to do it. I took my time and learned everything as I went and it took about 1 month. During that time I still had to drive the car. If you just replace it it might cost you more. I would estimate this project cost me around $200-$250 since it took way more than just paint. (Paint, Sandpaper, face mask, vinyl cleaners, rubbing alcohol, replacement plastic push pins, ect.). All in all, it is a project that takes time, effort, and money. However the results are amazing. |

heres my transformation: I drive a 2000 Mustang GT 5spd Mac ceramic L/T's ----> BBK o/r X ------> Pypes Volator UPR CAI Steeda UDP's FRPP 4.10's FRPP carbon LSD rebuild Aluminium DS MGW shifter Rear interior gutted Sniper performance tune. All work DIY'd Cosmetic stuff too ![]() here's some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and ponygrllllllll........ I am a huge fan of your stang!!!!! that is awsome!
