Even professionals fail

So this is a picture used for wheel discussion over in 05+ section by one of our users. Me being so into the art of shooting a black car, notice right away there is nice lighting used for the picture. It's obviously for 5.0 magazine per the watermark, and to be honest very well set up for being a black car, shot at night, two very tough metering issues regardless of flash equipment/ studio lighting.

It is a great picture. Except for the sniper standing with the over head flash head present in the driver door via reflection. LOL goes to show even the pros can't get it right every time. Moral of the story, watch your surroundings as well as the reflections from the subject.

i think they said it was a rushed shoot. i can remember reading it. but not 100% sure. but it kills the shot over all.

I agree with Zip...butttttttt it is a magazine and they get paid to take professional photos, if anyone can take a snapshot with their reflection in the work, what distinguishes them from the other magazines? Gotta be the best! Nice car and pic overall though.
