you use photoshop right?

just take whatever image you want the watermark to be and add it as a low opacity layer

Zip, I'm using CS3 and push my pictures in a batched script. There's actually a good 15 to 20 ways to do it and get great results within the adobe software suites.

Thanks Erin. My daughter is asking me this question. She's looking to get into photography, but we've never played with watermarking.

Looks like I'm eventually going to have to score some decent software, instead of the.....acquired stuff I've been using for years. lol

you can torrent any of the photoshops with a patch so you can use the full version for free.
