want some opinions from the pros out there. constructive critizism appreciated. retarted pointless comments not wanted.

i see you lol. somehow this little fucker co-operated perfectly with me at the zoo

giant statue outside cabelas in KC

also if someone could enlighten me on how the hell yall put the borders and signatures on your picutures that be great. i figure its photoshop which i have cs4 64bit so im good there. i know absolutley the bare basics about photoshop so talk slow lol.

Just search for it on youtube. There are plenty of videos that show you how to do it.

That's why there's an "undo" feature - in windows it's usually hot-keyed to Ctrl-Z

i think the bird thought it was a game becuase i got a few pics where he got his head out fo the way as soon as i put the camera up lol.

i was comparing my statue shot to lucas's statue shot and i noticed mine seems dull and a little pale. i wonder what i could have adjusted to fix that. i was using my 55-200 lens with a polarizer filter

For the borders a simple way to do it in photoshop is go to "Canvas Size" and play around until you get a border of the size you like. but make sure the color is set to black, unless you want a white or pink border or something.

Bird shot is nice but one distracting thing to watch for is the branch overhanging his head casting a sliver of a shadow. Only way to not have that happen is to fill flash from below or wait for him to move a tad further forward. Aside from that it is definately a keeper.

Your statue shot is bland because of the time of day and position of the sun. Your meter picked up sunlight on the head area, but the bulk of the statue is not in any sunlight. It's 80% shadowed.

To draw more detail try metering off the shadowed part of the moose/bull, then recompose your shot with those settings. Downfall there is that you may blow out the sky. Gotta pick your poison, or pick a better time of day/turn the bull towards the sunlight.
