Just a couple pics of the car...


Took about 15 minutes yesterday to get a couple shots of the car. Hadn't really had a chance to test out the CPL filter that I purchased a couple months back until yesterday. For a low end filter (Targus) it seems to do a decent job cutting out light reflection and giving nice depth to the paint. My only complaint would be that while it does give you a good reflection in the paint, it also causes a slightly over saturated and contrasted look on the paint as well.

Nice shots!! Some day I will be that good.

Is the filter adjustabe?? Mine is. Maybe mess arround with how much filtering you need by turning the filter.

It is...I'm fairly sure that I had it on the lightest setting but I could be wrong. You can tell by the photos that the saturation/contrast issue is only on the paint on the shaded side of the car. The filtering looks fine from every other angle. I have a feeling that it's just that the filter isn't the greatest quality.

It may be the Tungsten paint as it likes to change colors depending on the lighting.?

That's the first time that I've seen my car look that way. The only time that I've seen something half-way similar was your pic under the overpass after you installed your new wheels. The paint wasn't near as dark looking though. Did you have your CPL on when you took that shot?

Thanks blackstang...those were the bargain of a lifetime. $560 for what looked to be 99.9% new wheels and tires (Toyo Proxes 4) with free shipping through my employer.
