Great looking car man. And I'm sure it's been said, but suspension is a must.

I recommend Eibach Sportlines personally... (a bit of a biased opinion though! haha.)

I'm cutting my stock springs soon...I'm going to start with 3/4 all around then if i want more go with a full coil.

But as for suspension. I would recommend getting an IRS brace, polyurethane bushing set, full length subframe connectors, and the half-shafts from the 03/04 cobras

^ thats what im planing to do to mine

Oh yeah...I forgot you had an 01...nevermind on the halfshafts then

You have polyurethane bushings or stock?

Here is the irs brace im getting IRS Brace

And you might also want to get a HD cross member from here Maximum Motorsports :: The Leader In Mustang Performance Suspension

You might be able to get the hook up from tousley ford (over at svtperformance) on the HD cross member as it came stock in the 03 cobras, but im not sure....MM is a great place to buy from though

stock bushings, but the car has always been garaged kept and i think they just arent worn out yet. i can dump the clutch at 4500 and burn all the way down my steet, and the ass stays planted. cross memeber seems like good buy im gonna look into it. the cover brace. iono if i gon be beatin on the diff that hard as to wear i need unless u guys think its absolute must.

Trust me....take the cobra to the track with some slicks and try those 4500 launches a couple of times....I can bet you that after a couple of passes you'll be on the phone calling for someone to trailer you home.

The IRS brace should be at the top of your list (its definitely going to by my first buy also).
And my cobra that i bought was garaged all its life....To this date it's only had rain touch its paint 3 times. With the bushings its not a matter of how new they are...the stock ones aren't good in the first place.

The stock bushings are rubber, so on really hard launches they flex (this is the same for the body...which is why you should get full length subframe connectors). You get the polyurethane bushings too keep the IRS from flexing during launches. And besides...they are only $50 from MM and another $30 for the bushings remover tool, so its not that expensive to do and will save you from messing stuff up on hard launches
