I was kinda pissed i couldnt get a front shot of the DBS. But im going to go back one of these days and get the other exotics at night.

Nope the Honeycomb grill is still in the hoodscoop.

I sure did. Finally i caught it at the right time. I always miss it.

Thanks weems. I also gave you some rep for all the photography help you have given me over the last couple of weeks.Emay i gave you some the other day for the firework help. and Thanks for the compliments everyone.

- Emay and Weems. What can i do to prevent the sunsets from washing out? in the first picture it is really bad and i love that picture. Am i suppose to buy a filter to prevent this from happening or am i using the wrong settings or something?

OHHH and I gotta give Thanks to Baker for selling me the Chin Spoiler for an Awesome price!
You could try HDR and tonemapping. I am not good at shooting sunsets, thats why I always shoot with my back to them.

Thanks. Im going to try the first one and the second one you mentioned. Im broke right now, no more money for extra equipment right now sadly.

Also would a Graduated Density Filter work? Not sure if thats what it called. but i know there is a filter you can buy to fix the sunset, but i wasn't sure if that type of filter was strictly for sunsets and not landscape and sunset.

I think a Neutral Density filter would work, but I have never used one. What extra equipment do you need?

It is a NDF and it will help a little. It's basically just a tinted filter on the top half. The problem you will run into is the stationary hard line for the Horizon, it's almost alway in a bad spot based on composition of your shot. Because of that often times you will see buildings, landscape and even portions of sky that expose oddly because of the position of that filtering line. It's gradual, but noticeable.

You'll need to compose the shot very well to make it look natural.

Understand the monetary issue with equipment, you can always get creative with spot lights and halogen from home depot. You simply need to make sure the location you shoot in has an outlet available.
