Bunch of new pictures
Just installed my chin spoiler today. I think it adds a really nice aggressive touch.

What would make your car look much better was if it didn't have the indentation for the license plate.
All in all....Your car = teh secks

haha NO but i wish! i work at a dealership. Troy is the name of the city i live in. But basically it's a half a mile strip of dealerships of every single auto maker you can think of. American to Japanese and all the way to Exotic( Bugatti, Lamborghini, aston martin, spyker, alfa romeo etc. So i just went there at night and took some pictures of the astons. I was kinda pissed i couldnt get a front shot of the DBS. But im going to go back one of these days and get the other exotics at night. I sure did. Finally i caught it at the right time. I always miss it. Thanks weems. I also gave you some rep for all the photography help you have given me over the last couple of weeks.Emay i gave you some the other day for the firework help. and Thanks for the compliments everyone. - Emay and Weems. What can i do to prevent the sunsets from washing out? in the first picture it is really bad and i love that picture. Am i suppose to buy a filter to prevent this from happening or am i using the wrong settings or something? OHHH and I gotta give Thanks to Baker for selling me the Chin Spoiler for an Awesome price!

Couple things you can try but I wasn't there to see it first hand to be positive of how I would tackle it.
First off, when shooting into a bright lighting source (The sun as it sets) settling for a silouette isn't always necessary, you can try and use a higher aperature to stop some of that refracting from occurring. Sometimes you can't win and what you got was the best one could land. Secondly you could put together two exposures, meter the car first and take that shot, then meter the sky directly and take that shot (on a tripod of course). Then mesh the two together in photoshop / cs3/ or your favorite editing software. The last way (which requires some equipment) is to meter or expose the shot on the sky and set up a mobile flash off camera so that it exposes properly with the bright sky. Without the flash, the car would be dim or silouetted as mentioned previously. I say off camera, because the on camer flash will be far too harsh, leave flickers of light in the paint and ultimatley be an undesireable picture. If it were my picture, I would have gone after two flashes, one on camera left at about 6ft high facing the front of the car, and one at just off camera right on an angle down the side of the car. Experimenting with a similar height as the first and going lower depending on results. Esentially 2 free options, and one costing option for you there.
