They Deffinatly wake up with a Power adder tho.And will be Peppy compared to the 4.6

What did you end up doing about the Oil pan?

What about the oil pan? I just dropped it in there the way it was. There wasn't anything different about it other than the drain plug was on the other side. Works fine. I put the 4.6 pan next to it and they were identical other than the drain plug being on the other side.

O Ok just making sure because for some reason mine were diffrent and the rods were hitting the little fins on the shallow side of the pan i nthe front i got rid of them on mine

OH yeah i could that b/c of the stroke...makes sense.... but nope I just left the stock 5.4 pan on it. I just drained it and the only slightest problem that anyone would have would be that the drain plug doesn't hang all the way over the brace. But If you jack the car up and let the passenger side be lower than the drivers side it shouldn't be a problem getting the oil to clear.

Here are a few pics. I painted the alt. brackets, and I had to cut some of the bracket that hold the power steering reservoir on. She ain't runnin yet. But Im goin to pick up the fuel pressure regulator here in a little while. The I got to put on the c-clip to the clutch cable...put on the little cover thing....put the belt on it.and fix the heater core.

Yeah I tried to fire it up tonight but i guess the battery was dead...the starter wasn't clicking...but all of the lights came on....I dunno...imma get out there on it tomorrow and get it goin.

Hell yeah...car has been out for about 6-7 months...Im ready to get back in it. Well everyone it fired up...but its got an exhaust leak that is believed to be making it run like shit. But its coming...I'll get a vid up of as soon as its video worthy lol

Whats funny is I tell everyone that Im goin take it easy on it for a while...then litterally ...everyone....looks at me funny then says yeah right your goin to pull it right out there in the street and do a big ass burn out...lol....Im thinking about doin it now lol.

Alright well I ended up sealin the shit out of the intake with clear rtv and that worked for a lil while then it started leakin again so I pulled it off to re do it right lol... and well it quite leakin air...and started leakin water lol...so once again for the 20th time the intake came off and a butt load of rtv went on....drove it for about a week and it developed a miss in cylidner 1 and 8...I replaced #8 and the car 10x better and felt great...but I ended up sellin the car and i got myself a 01 SS as you can see in my sig....word of advice to anyone thinking about doin this swap...STAY AWAY FROM THE ADAPTER PLATES!!!...If it wasn't for those not seating right on the heads and intake the car would have ran right the 1st damn time. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.
