Sexeh.

Interesting how in some pics it looks Rio Red, others it looks Laser Red. Lighting is to blame for such confusion I'm sure

Love those wheels Chad. Do you plan on tinting that bad boy in the future?

Thanks a ton guys. I really appreciate all the complements. I'll definitely try to capture some better shots with true color next time.

Lucas, I am thinking about tinting it. I'm not really sure that I want to yet, but I know eventually I will. What's your, and anyone else's, opinion on tinting?

I worked on another photo, but I got a little carried away creating a sky. Next time I'll definitely try to get some better shots to start with. The color of the car is a little more accurate here though.

If you're iffy about whether or not to tint I wouldn't go any darker than 20%.

5% always looks great if you can get away with it. I'm not sure how tight the cops are in your area about that type of thing. My car was tinted with (what I believe to be) 5% when I bought it so I'm not sure what brand it is. You can't go wrong with 3M though. If you live in the city the darkness of 5% won't bother you near as bad as if you lived in a rural area. I know that when I go outside of the city to visit my folks it's definitely tough to see. I have only had the metallized tint on a car once and it is nice stuff to have it just gives off that silver reflective tone at certain angles which I'm not a fan of. The last vehicle that I tinted was the '02 HD F150. It was just a basic 20% 3M and I didn't have any complaints whatsoever. Here's what it looked like...

Oh yeah. I like that. I think I'll end up doing what you have on the truck. It's very similar to how I had my GT. I just need to find a good place around here to get it done.

Thanks man. I'm getting ready to head over to a wheels shop and pick up some 1/4" spacers for the rear to put the 10's out to the fender well. Then later today I'm taking the wheels off, cleaning out the insides, and polishing and waxing them up again.

I think I might when I get the time.

I'm driving back to the Richmond area (about an hour and 45 minutes away) in a little while, where I'll do all of this at my in-laws. I just picked up the little Mothers power ball mini so it should cut my time down. I also just snagged some 1/4" spacers at Joe's Tire and Rim's down here for $10/per. It should get the edge of the tire right at the fender.
