First, I'm not trying to be mean or rude. That's not me. But it's a Toyota. I consistently see Toyota's with over 400,000 km on them. Unfortunately I am unable to say that about the domestic market in general. I have noticed that they(the Flex) aren't selling too well up here. We always joke that the local funeral homes are gonna buy them up for Hursts.

I'm not saying that. Domestics last, but I can honestly say that I haven't seen too many with even 300,000km on them. Maybe it's because alot of domestic owners don't think of the maintenance or preventative maintenance, like import owners do. And I'll give you a break Redfire

Really? I've seen ONLY domestic cars with over 300k Miles, I've never seen a toyota or honda with that many miles on it, and I live in the LAND of foreign cars.

. Didn't he want to put filters on cows asses to stop the methane from escaping. Hahahahaha. Then again, there doesn't seem to be alot of rust down there. So even pieces of crap have a chance to survive.

well, we get a little corrosion if you live really close to the Ocean, and in northern CA , where it snows, They don't use salt on the road anymore, so the cars don't rust nearly as bad as they used to.

We were in San Fran. I know inland is abit more dry. At least our cars won't rust like up in the Detroit/Toronto areas. Rust is absolutely brutal up there.

Nice. I like the flex a lot. It's a great vehicle.
Agree with the sentiment. I also saw one. Went by my dealer last week to ask him if he knew of any good places to find 4x4 beaters before I found the Explorer, and there was a brand new SHO sitting outside. Fucking tremendous machine. ![]() 360+ TT horsepower, AWD, paddle shift, heated leather, nav, roomy.... amazing car. |
