Can you please come do mine as well? I can barely walk in mine let alone get my car in side. The rents are pack rats and don't want to throw stuff out.

![]() RustOLeum Epoxy Floor Paint will be laid down when the weather gets better - oh - 6 months from now. We bought it, but it's at least a two day process to clean, fill cracks, then lay it down. AND the weather has to be just perfect - which it's not and won't be for a while. So we're gonna wait. Unless by some miracle we have a perfect weekend next weekend. ![]() It goes to the crawl space under the north side of the house (the original house). There was this big, clunky, heavy 2 x 4 contraption that sat over the entrance so he took that out and built a nice custom fit one. It's a work of engineering genius! ![]() Thanks! Not finished yet but we're thrilled thus far!

Is that an order?
No - but that is a modification we could do some rainy afternoon! ![]() Trade my garage for Eleanor!! Maybe! Little nervous about the floor - afraid it will be overpowering - got it in saddle with the colored flecks of white, black and dark brown...all the colors make sense...just can't get it in my minds eye...which makes me nervous. We'll see though! Weather looks to be in excess of 60 this week - we may start cleaning the floor Wednesday night and maybe take Friday off to finish up. Man I want this thing done sooner than JUNE!!!

![]() We did talk about the black and white floor like you have....decided against it though. If this epoxy stuff doesn't work or looks like crap, maybe we'll go that route instead.

Your car needs a mate. My car has been lonely in the grages since the Porsche has been in the shop. Can it come and sleep in yours?
Nice job BTW.

Those crappy stock rims? Uh...sure! lol The right front is chewed up - much like the right front FR500's on it now. But I didn't booger the stockers - came that way when I bought her.... *sigh*
This has been the hardest, most time consuming part.... We used the Epoxy Shield degreaser on it...then rinsed it. Then we scrubbed it with muratic acid and rinsed it. Dried it...but it left a light powder over the surface plus it rained all day yesterday so we went ahead and just used buckets of clean water and rags and scrubbed it on our hands and knees. Put the dehumidifier and a few fans and a heater out there to dry it out. It seems to be ready this morning. The sun is shining. It's pretty cool outside, but the heater has been running out there so I'm sure that it's warm enough. Looks like today might be the day!!!!

Thanks!
![]() We got it done yesterday - little worried because the first bucket of paint we opened and mixed was very runny - like water almost. Went down fine and looked really good when it was drying but had to open the second can for the about the last quarter of the garage. When it was mixed, it was very thick - like latex paint usually is.... Looks good though - we haven't walked on it yet to see if the roller lines have subsided or if the 2 cans at least matched in color....but here are the pics I took right after we finished: ![]() ![]() Thinking about talking hubby into getting the clear gloss coating today and putting that down as well...but thinking that might be a bad idea. If we have to sand this down and re do it in the Spring, that's just one more layer we have to take off. Plus it was like $80- a can and we'd need a can and a bit...so thinking we'll pass and just see how this does by itself. Ready to put all our shit back in the garage and get it off the driveway for sure! And Miss Vivian doesn't look pretty with a half inch of frost on her!

Thanks man
![]() Hubby is on his way to the hardware store to get the clear coat. The 2nd bucket was the good bucket - the first bucket isn't glossy at all so we're thinking the clear coat will even it out a little. The colors don't match but are close. If you stand in the right place, you can totally see it. Disappointing - but it's a garage. Keep reminding myself of that. Still very pleased with it though. So it's probably going to be a couple weeks before we can move stuff back inside and start parking in there. This definitely took way longer than anticipated but the results far surpassed our expectations.
