I have to disagree...the light output on the road is tremendously better than stock. True a projector focuses the beam and may appear more of a crisp beam, but they are definitely better than stock.

Here's the low beam up against a fence:

And the high beam against a fence:
If you feel that is great HID output then so be it, you are missing out on a ton of output clarity and there is no hard line cut off there at all. It's all scattered about. I think if you rode in a Depo projector set up you would probably shit yourself.

Even the side to side cut pattern is poor, it tapers and diminishes into darkness and it should not be that way.

Either way, I see your improvement in vision in comparison to the old halogen's, it is noticeable. Just wanted to make sure you understood 6k is not true white, and that the scatter there is really really bad. You need to experience it real time though to understand where I'm coming from. You should never have an oval pattern nor should it fade anywhere. It should clip at a hardline, with the driver side down 2 degrees from the passenger side to properly stay below oncoming vision.

I'll see about some photos of my projector / non projector vehicles. That would show all the problems..

I also am in total agreement that a projector on a mustang will look like total ass. So don't think I'm pressing that issue.

3k low beam only - Before adjustment after initial install

After adjustment, look at that compared to your scatter shot on the fence:

Look at the hard line at the edges that runs the entire length of the fence:

This shot speaks for itself, A halogen housing will never compare in output, clarity, or overall focused vision.

I completely agree with you that the projector is going to focus the light better and make it more intense whan my scattered reflector headlights. I was just saying that they put out more light than the halogens. I just couldn't come to put hideous projectors on the mustang...they belong on cars like BMWs,acuras, etc. Great pictures though, that beam looks very intense

I got them from this guy on ebay (hidlighting168) eBay Seller: hidlighting168: eBay Motors, Electronics items on eBay.com

But I found a better place to get them and have heard some great reviews with a lifetime warranty and very slim ballasts. I'm getting some 5000k for my girlfriend and sister from this place: <http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=101&parent=85>. They even offer an upgrade to 55w HID ballasts/bulbs for only $10...but I'm sticking with the 35 since neither of them have projector headlights. But with the bi-xenon kit and shipping it's only $92...and with a lifetime warranty. If I could do it again, I'd get the 5000k from these guys and upgrade my fogs to the 55wk.

I'll try to remember to post some pictures of her 5000k HID to my 6000k when we install them into her jetta.
