I'm thinking so...I should charge him the money for that damn ticket.

I made the comparison of my brakes with the width of the knife I had at the restaurant to my girlfriend...That was a priceless look on her face.

Lol I think all the bitching I made about my brakes were all accepted when I did that.

Pfft...we had a car come into my buddies shop (sometimes I help out over the weekend)... Anyways...

The lady was like "my car is squeaking to no end when I press the brakes and it goes left every time". She said her boy friend just changed the pads so I took the wheel off and low and behold the effing pad was in bassackwards. I couldn't stop laughing. Had to turn the rotor a few times too.

oh yeah, when I used to work at a shop a guy came in and said that his car wouldnt move. I take the left front wheel off and the pad had nothing left on it and looked to have welded itself onto the rotor but what made it worse was the fact that the pads were so worn, even the backing, that the piston was completely out and stuck itself between the caliper and the rotor cracking the rotor. I asked him when the last time he changed his pads were and he said, "Ive owned the car for 8 years now.... so never!?!?!?!" I couldnt believe it.

well the guy in my tale was about 70+ and was frail looking so I felt that probably had other things to worry about. I ended up doing it on the side for him for cheaper cause we were about to rape him on parts and labor.
