Well this is the thing, if I leave it be, it comes off as okay to the person doing it, as well as others that see what's been done (but not really into photography and all that's involved in landing shots like that). The question is, how involved do you want to get, and how much time and money do you want to burn in resolving. The up front expense blows.

I wouldn't begin to suggest you leave this alone. That's total bullshit and they either need to pull them down or compensate you. Period.

In lawyers hands, already spent some good change out of pocket just to get the ball rolling.

Looks like the person running the site, runs several others. Never responds to correspondence delivered to any of the contact listings from them. So I had no choice, Last I heard - prior to my vacation, the guy does everything through a PO box for billing. So the lawyers jumping through all those hoops.

Personally, I'm burnt out thinking about, and if it gets any more expensive I am pulling the plug.. I'll hope for a day that I can get a home address of the jag off and take all my aggravation out on him. Whole thing is bullshit.

Time to take different steps in protecting the shots I like. Might see some of my stuff be accessible via links to the host site which don't allow right click, print capability or screen capture. Nature of the internet I suppose..

It's possible to block most people from doing such a thing. Especially if they are using Windows.

A bit harder for someone a bit more experienced, and not using windows.

For example, there is no way a webpage can block OS X from taking screenshots.

It's probably possible but remember...If I want the picture bad enough I can just screen shot it bud

People will use snag it or whatever and just save that screen shot as a jpeg. There's your picture. It sucks, but just wanted to let ya know.

^+1, One of the glories of the inter-web......I hate to admit this after reading this thread, but I have a pic of EMAY's car on my desktop...........But I am not using it as a cheap ass rip off for advertising! just my personal enjoyment (because it is really, really awesome!)......I saw it on Americanmuscleregistry.com when he joined a while back. I cant believe they didnt even try to cover it up better. If your stealing, wouldnt you think they would try to hide his "brand" or whatever? Frickin losers man!
