Filters
What lense filters do you guys use, and what do you recommned as "required" filters? I currently have a UV (stays on almost all the time), a polarizer, a graduated nuetral density, and a soft fx.
I am curious as to what everyone thinks of the many choices out there and what they mainly shoot with them.

The only one I really use is the polarizer, and that is on rare occasions.

A polarizer is a good one for cars because it can help reduce the glare on windows and such.
I think anymore most people do their filter affects in post-processing.

Yeah, that's what I was figuring. I just want to be able to see if I can get those perfect shots and not do as much editing. I use my polarizer most.

yea i use the uv filter, mainly to protect the lense
![]() but all the polarization stuff is done like RK said, in an editing program. although its usually better to take the pic the way you want it first imo, im just too lazy to swap all that stuff out all the time |
