I just got a harwood cobra r hood, but it don't have those vents on top? I wonder why that is?

there is the reg Cobra R (which is what u have) then the SVO Cobra R with a scoop, and then there is mine Y2K Cobra R

and those vents are closed, making them louvers? i guess u could call em, i do want to open the rear cowl part of the hood tho

The cowl dont have vents there? Mine has two with mesh screening.

the vents are filled with fiberglass, u can see the lines, to cut it out, which i want to do for some air flow to engine
