Nice looking car. I'd pull that door trim off though. What all is done to it?

There are three cars on my list that I'm looking into replacing the Cobra with, and a C5 Z06 is one of them. I've just always loved those cars.

Seeing this red one reminds me of a funny story. I was at the car wash in my old SS (long time ago) waiting my turn and this young kid pulls up in a nice red Z06. I give him the thumbsup and can't help but wonder how a young (probably 18) kid gets into a car like that. As I'm thinking about it, he proceeds to pull forward into a carwash stall, but kills the car. I shit you not, he killed it three times just trying to pull forward. I tried my hardest to hide my laughter.

What a tool, learn how to drive in the neighborhood before you're out showing it off.

And I just had to share with all you fruity pants how I cringed when reading about nuts through a salad shooter. Ouch. That one's for you Zipperooapotomus.

I never really liked the C5 body style. It's sleek and nice, but I like the C6 ALOT more. The C6 seems like the pinnacle of Corvette styling in my opinion.

^Agreed, looks like a much more solid performance vehicle. The sleek "euro" lines and lights make the car that much nicer. Motor ain't bad either.

Yeah, I like the C6 so much more than the C5. The exterior styling looks better, and the interior is head and shoulders above the C5. But the pricetag for a C5Z06 is more in my range.

I doubt I'll make the swap. I keep talking like I want to sell the Cobra, but I just don't think I have the balls to pull the trigger. I really do enjoy this car.

-Aftermarket Intake
-Ported 78mm TB
-F.A.S.T. 78mm Intake manifold
-Kooks long-tube headers
-Kooks O/R X-pipe
-Factory Titanium muffler and tips
-B&M Ripper Shifter

she needs to lower it.... super easy on those cars... just turn a few bolts.

C5 Z06 in pretty good condition and a C6 Base model are about the same price nowadays. I say about, not exactly. It's plus or minus 5 grand on a few of them.

regardless, they're close in price.
