Do you have any full side on shots? Looks pretty sweet. Love the paint job.

I received my black halo headlights and black turn signals today, which I plan to install tomorrow if the weather is nice. Hopefully my LED taillights and clear rear bumper reflectors will be delivered soon and then everything should be complete.
I'm definitely getting a lot of looks and head turns. I have even noticed a few people taking a camera phone picture when I'm parked or stopped at a light. I also got my dual exhaust put on today. Holy crap is it LOUD! I will put up a sound clip tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to take it but we will see. I'm driving to New Orleans this Monday so that will be a big test. I will take a full side shot tomorrow and post it here. @Texan_Stud, you're the one with the "Money to burn" thread not me. Any chance I can become a distant relative or something? LOL

She runs really fast and tight now. The gears made a *HUGE* difference in take off and getting up to speed quick.
The CAI was bugging me a bit because it was whining when my foot was on the gas but the loud exhaust drowns that (and everything else) out now. LOLThe only "problem" is that since putting in the gears, my shift from 2nd to 3rd when at more than 1/2 throttle is extremely harsh. Justin at VMPTuning.com is going to email me some tunes to try out to correct that problem. |

shift kit and a higher stall converter will smooth those shifts out nicely

I don't understand why everyone thinks I have a lot of cash. I haven't done anything to my car that you haven't already done yourselves. I didn't even get a full MAC exhaust that most of you have. I definitely don't have a Cobra so don't even get me started on that. LOL

I saved up my money too.
![]() I have been driving an 1987 Nissan pickup since 2000 and have been making "payments" on it to a savings fund to purchase a car. I had $25K saved up and since I got a good deal on my car that left me the money to do the mods that I have done. Now I too am broke and have to begin saving again. It was fun while it lasted though. |
