AS Promised: New Wheel Pics & HIDs

Well I got the FR500s home, of course they rode in the back of the truck in the rain, it's raining now, and I live in the middle of nowhere so it's dark as hell.. I really don't like any of the pictures I took, but take a look.. once I clear her up I'll get some nice ones...

these are Antharitce FR500 18x9, 18x10, w/ NITTO Invos 255/35, 275/35. I didn't even drive them, just backed them out of the garage, so I don't think the suspension even settled yet..

DDM 6000k hi/low and yellow LED turn signals, NOKYA Yellow H10 fogs

It is lowered.. Steeda springs.. I think I need to drive and and let the springs compress back down.. I know the fronts are now about 1/4" smaller overall dia.... That's why I really don't like these pics.. it looks stock suspension..

You got led blinkers? Did you have to do a relay or something for them? I heard it could change flash rate?

Ahh. Makes sense. BTW, love the yellow fog lights. I did the same combo almost. 5k HIDs in headlights and 3K in fogs. Love that look.

honestly, I haven't used them yet to see? I just ordered some one ebay.. I was a little dissapointed because I ordered YELLOW, even though they have Amber.. but they don't look as yellow as my fogs..

how do you like the 5ks? I'm thinking about that combo for the sport trac 5k lights and 3k fogs.. since they need to be functional..

Love the HIDs, I think I'm going to ask for that for my birthday.

If you go with VVME, hope you get a kit that has zero problems; mine had a bad bi-X bulb, ballast and the harness was wired wrong. Granted they say that things need to be shipped back at your cost for free replacement but the catch is, you have to pay to have it shipped to their Beijing location, not the Delaware location.

DDMTuning, w/ HI/low.. like $70 for the slim kit.. if you don't want Hi/low it's only $50. DDM is great.. as long as you know what you want and don't need support.. I orginally ordered a kit for projectors, but changed my mind.. I still have that kit becuase I can't get any support..

I love it. I wish the 3K looked more yellow when looking at them, but they light up the ground yellow big time!

That's real weird. They look white looking at them, but they light the ground yellow.

OP, I love those fr500's. Looks great. What are you doing with the old Saleens?

Thanks guys.. I looked and thought long and hard on wheels, went from Saleen to 10th Annis and settled on FR500s...

the old wheels were Cobras and I sold them on Craigslist..

I like the 3ks, but I love the yellow ones I got and they were only $15 and work great in bad weather, even though I got them mostly so they would look yellow

It's crazy the 5ks still have a blue tint.. I thought they were pure white.. I've seen 7000k regular bulbs are listed as "ultra white" but HIDs at 6000k (like mine) are blueish and 8000ks are really blue! A lot of forums I've seen recommend 5000k to be 100% legal white.
