haha i actually like verts when the top is down and they have a light bar. i just couldnt stand driving with it up the majority of the year especially with the body flex and added weight, my car is already a pig.

I agree 100% with you. I hate driving with my top up. Makes me feel cramped in the car. It has a lot of drawbacks, but being able to cruise down by the beach with the top down on a nice summer day. To quote Kenny Chesney "Yeah man that's the good stuff!"

'verts are seen as girly because the droptop comes at a cost to performance.
