NEW BODYKIT...WHAT'CHA THINK SO FAR???

Alright I picked this complete kit up on the CHEAP....$150 to be exact...

Not exactly the one I wanted I would have prefered having the one that has the foglights on the front but hey its better than $500 + Paying someone to paint it....

I got someone thats gonna Paint / Clearcoat for $250...so total once I get that done...$400...cheaper than the kit itself...woo-hoo...

Alright heres the pics...

It seems hard to visualize it without it being RED but thought I would put it out there since I'm so stoked about it...

ONE NOTE...the bumper goes one EASY....THOSE DAMN SIDE SKIRTS ARE HARD AS HELL.....

If you plan on doing it BE PREPARED to sand and grind to make the door be able to close right without catching on the side skirts...overall I spent 4 hours making the side skirts fit and 30 minutes putting on the front bumper!!!

take care and let me know what you guys think....

im not to fond on the spyder body kits. they look like they belong on a civic. shoulda gone with the cobra-r full body kit with the hood. a lot more expensive, but very nice. but if you just wanted a better look, then you did alright for 150.

i think it WILL look good when its painted.. now it just looks like a civic.. the only difference in this and a civic is that civic drivers plan to leave their body kits permanently unpainted

I really wanna try my hand at some re-fashioning/fiberglass work.....

Kinda TONE DOWN the honda look a bit...somehow....

Like molding in some foglights, or putting something that resembles a "MUSTANG LOOK"....the wheels are turning and smokes coming outta my ears as I type....

I plan on "Mustanging" This Front Bumper somehow....

But for $150 atleast I get to "PLAY".....lol

if it were me, i wouldn't paint it the same color as the rest of the body, the bumper and side skirts i would paint white, and put in something like mustang special or something like that on the side skirts in red, kinda like the new GT 500, that would look sweet and it would go with your white racing stripe

Alright heres a PHOTOSHOPPED version of how it should look painted....

To take away the rice in this cheap=o kit I think I have to do something MUSCLE with the wide open grill space in the middle...right now it has some flimsy grill material.....

I'm gonna photoshop some cool foglights in there...maybe even a RETRO IDEA....like a throwback to something from an older Stang...we'll see....

put some chrome grill inserts in there and your intake up top, it would add some flare to the stang
