looks great lefty. Love those 18's, makes me so jealous ughh.

Anyway, shots actually look really good for not using a tripod. jeez.. i definitely can't stand that still at night with a camera in my hands.

But tripod is keyyyy!! to night shots. Save your money. and FYI, do not by a 50.00 tripod haha, it's not even worth it honestly. I learned the hard way.

It took a whole lot of effort not to move once that shutter was open lol.

Any recommendations?

I find it helpful to either hold my breath when pressing the shutter or to exhale as I press the shutter. Also keep your elbows tucked in. Do not have them pointing outwards. your elbows should be pointing almost to your knees or even your hips but stay relaxed. Try that and see if it helps to stay still. Those tips are good for day time as well.

and then im not really sure on tripods. I bought mine from emay. it's a manfrotto i think.

I felt the same way but got some when one of my old HID's took a crap. Having the headlights and foglights match really cleans up the look.

I need to get a tripod for my DSLR too so dont feel bad. I've been patiently waiting for my mom to get the one they used to have back from my aunt who borrowed it but I might just go purchase one tomorrow on my way to take some test pics at the railroad yard.

Oh and btw. since you didnt respond to my post in the thread you started on svtp.

LOOKS SLOW!
