My latest couple models PICS

Figured I'd throw up a few pics of my latest models I built. I'm sure someone on here likes race cars as much as I do.

The blue one took me about 20 hours to put together, red one about 12.

All pieces came in a gray primer color, so I painted and masked off every piece or painted it by hand with a brush. All parts are cemented, and all decals are waterslide decals. So everything from the wheels to the wing was hand done by me

The next one I'm working on is a Mclaren team f1 car. Then I think I'ma go get an nsx or gtr race car.

Very nice! I'm working on a 1/24th Camaro because all the Mustangs the hobby shop had were ugly. I'm probably only about half way done. The body is goign to be the hardest because I have to spray paint it.

Keep posting up the pics of the new stuff!

yeah you should, hell i thought no one was really building them anymore, i used to build a avid model builder at one time i had a 70 chevelle, 57 chevy, and a coronet i had them on a wall shelf and it fell one day a f'ed them all up, haven't really touched them since. but have been wanting to get back into the hobby

Yeah, the Calsonic Nissan R89c that I have pics of was all gray when I got it. I had to coat it with white, and then mask the white off by hand and coat it with that blue. Was very time consuming, but came out good. Just remember! Many light coats > few heavy coats

Just got back into it myself, I guess I'll update this thread with more models periodically.

Agreed on the paint. I need to pick up some sand paper so I can make the paint smoother.

Newest model!

Finished this one about a week ago, finally got around to taking pics and posting. All my cars go in display boxes as to not get dust on them, So I have to take pics before I put them in display.
