did a little shoot of the lex today

So Blurrrr and I were bored and decided to pick up his point and shoot digital camera and head out to take some pics of the Lexus. Some turned out pretty well for not being a great camera. Figured i would share..

Good looking car.

Black is tough, with any camera. Especially when everything is black on black on more black.

Dunno who was working the camera, but my advice would be to watch the surroundings. That first shot could have been phenominal regardless of a point and shoot, if there wasn't those two big ole posts driving right up through the frame.

The others have similar surrounding items that are unflattering. Posts, flag poles, fences, anything that grows out of or into a car in any picture, basically hurts it.

That attention is very tough to manage, I know first hand. I'd be drooling over that first shot if the car was further away from them poles so you could have shot from the other side of them, with the same framing you had there. Good mix of sky and structure.

Hey, thanks for the info. My photo skills are from what i was taught in highschool in i believe my sophmore year. Funny thing, looking at those posts now, they look like they can be removed....hmmmmm i may have to check that out as well.

Yup, I vote you go rip those posts up and take that shot again on a similar day. It's pretty sweet besides the posts.

any idea what time of day they retract them Brett? See if you can go back when they are not up. We see the lids for them at the base of the posts. Probably goes by high traffic / rush hour type time lines.

We'll def. have to go back and try to get a shot without the steel posts. haha the people in the office building in the first shot were staring at us through the windows laughing and waving as we were shooting the pictures.

I would post the youtube video of the woman who tries to follow a bus when it goes over those retractable posts and they shot back up while she is over top of them, but my computer is being

I'm not sure, but i will be checking back on them periodically to see when they go down.

Let it be said, Altezza tail lights only belong on Altezza's/is's Third gear in an IS can change the direction of the earths rotation....be careful with that shit.
