Btw...You should paint the brackets and the back side of the brake pads also...makes it look much better. Here is mine so you can see

Just use the High-temp paint. I prefer Dupli-color High temp brake caliper paint

he used a spray gun ...and i used a shity ass brush that comes with the paint ....the brush was breaking apart

Yeah...I used the brush kit on the v6's calipers...It's not bad at all, but spraying comes out MUCH better

that's your problem..you used a kit....

rattle can high-temp = better job

Looks good guys.

I took a fine fine fine sandpaper to my calipers prior to prep as I had some surface blemishes on the calipers once I cleaned all the dirt off of them which helped smooth out the finished paint. Black dupli-color high gloss, high temp paint on all 4 corners. Originally planned to paint the COBRA letters red like you did, but instead I hit them with the black as well, then once the paint set, I sanded the letters lightly to remove the paint. I think it looks really good (can't find my pictures darn it.)

It's really not that bad...I was expecting it to be a lot worse. I thought I would have to clean them like every time i drove the car, but come to find out...it stays pretty clean

But then again...I don't drive the cobra around all the time, so that helps
